JOINT STATUS REPORT The parties submit this Joint Status Report pursuant to the Court's order filed May 25, 2007, to provide information about the "proceedings and/or developments before the United States Department of Interior." The hearing before the United States Department of the Interior, Office of Hearings and Appeals, regarding the validity determinations of plaintiff's mining claims in the litigation before this Court, concluded on June 1, 2007. The administrate law judge set the following schedule for the parties: a. June 29, 2007: The parties file briefs regarding the administrative law judge's jurisdiction to determine the validity of plaintiff's mining claims for alleged takings dates of 1994 and 2000. b. August 24, 2007: The parties file opening briefs on the validity determination of plaintiff's mining claims with the administrative law judge.

September 24, 2007: The parties file responsive briefs on the validity determination of plaintiff's mining claims with the administrative law judge.
