JOINT STATUS REPORT The parties submit this Joint Status Report pursuant to the Court's order dated April 10, 2007, to provide information about the proceedings and/or developments before the United States Department of Interior. The hearing before the United States Department of the Interior, Office of Hearings and Appeals, regarding the validity determination of plaintiff's mining claims in the litigation before this Court, began on March 12, 2007, in Portland, Oregon. Initially, because of personal family issues for Mr. Stephens, counsel for plaintiff, and subsequent scheduling considerations by all parties, the proceedings have been held intermittently and will re-commence on May 30, 2007, and is scheduled to conclude by June 1, 2007.
