Before the court is the United States' Brief Regarding Deliberative Process Privilege (defendant's brief). The Rules of the United States Court of Federal Claims (RCFC) require that a table of contents and an index to any appendix be included in the filing of any brief or memoranda. See RCFC 5.3(a)(1)(A), (G). With regard to defendant's brief, the court does not require a table of contents. The court does, however, require an index to the appendix filed along with defendant's brief. On or before Tuesday, July 15, 2008, defendant shall file an index to the appendix to defendant's brief. The parties are urged to contact the court at any time when they believe the involvement of the court will help to secure the just, speedy, and inexpensive determination of this action. See RCFC 1.
