06-811 T
Before the court is plaintiff's Notice of Recent Authority. There is no provision in the rules for such a filing, and the court will disregard it. If the parties wish to move jointly, or if they cannot agree, move separately, for permission to file additional briefing with respect to any pending matter, of course they may do so. It is unnecessary to encumber the docket with copies of published opinions, and the parties shall refrain in the future from doing so. In addition, the parties shall, by a brief joint status report filed on or before Tuesday, March 11, advise the court of: 1. The prospects for settlement of all or any portion of this action; 2. The relevance of each currently pending motion, particularly in light of the contemplated "[f]iling of dispositive motions" contained in the parties' several requests to extend deadlines; and 3. Any proposals for scheduling further proceedings, if necessary, including any requests to be heard in oral argument on any pending motion. IT IS SO ORDERED. 3
