No. 06-940 L (Filed: February 22, 2007) ***************************************** COEUR D'ALENE TRIBE, * * Plaintiff, * * v. * * THE UNITED STATES, * * Defendant. * * ***************************************** ORDER On February 21, 2007, the parties filed a Joint Motion for Temporary Stay of Litigation in view of litigation in a companion case in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia (Coeur d'Alene Tribe v. Kempthorne, No. 1:06-cv-02242-JR) and an administrative accounting process between the Inter-Tribal Monitoring Association and the Office of Historical Trust Accounting. The Court GRANTS the parties' motion. This case is hereby STAYED until February 27, 2008. The Court ORDERS the parties to file joint status reports on or before June 15, 2007, October 12, 2007, and February 15, 2008. In each joint status report, the parties shall discuss in detail developments in the litigation in the companion case and in the administrative accounting process and why a continuation of the stay is still warranted.
