{ I, Dorene Fraikin, being duly sworn, depose and say that: {
{ l. I am over eighteen years of age. {
2. I believe in the obligations of an oath. {
3. I have personal knowledge ofthe matters contained herein. {
4. On June 7, 2002, I was employed as a substitute school nurse at
Plainville High School.
5. On June 7, 2002, I was informed that Kelly Phaneuf was under suspicion
of having marijuana in her pants so as to smuggle it to the senior picnic.
» 6. I was informed that a search of Kelly Phaneuf would take place.
I 7. The search of Kelly was conducted in a small room within the nurse’s
office. Kelly Phaneut"s mother, Lisa Phaneuf conducted the search. I
l stood outside of the small room with my back to the door.
8. The only people present in the room where Kelly was being searched “
was Kelly and her mother. {
