STIPULATION TO EXTEND TIME
I WHEREAS, HTC America, Inc. ("I~ITCA”) has been served with the Complaint in this
C matter;
WHEREAS, HTC Corp. ("HTC") has agreed, subject to the approval ofthe stipulation to
I extend the time to respond to the Compiaint, to waive service of the Summons and Complaint;
i IT IS HEREBY STIPULATED AND AGREED bythe paities hereto, subject to the
approval of the Court, that the time within which individual defendants HTCA and I-ITC must
move, answer or otherwise respond to the Complaint is extended through and including June 2,
2008.
The reasons for this extension are: (1) HTCA and HTC require additional time to
investigate the allegations ofthe Complaint and (2) HTCA and HTC have received no prior

extensions of time within which to tile their individual responses to the Complaint. This
extension should not disnipt the schedule in the case, as there has been no initial conference with
the Court and there is no Scheduling Order in place at this time.
