ADOPTION OF FICTITIOUS NAME
If, due to conditions described in ss. 180.1506 (2) or 181.1506 (2), the corporate name of a foreign corporation is not available for use in Wisconsin, the foreign corporation may obtain or maintain its certificate of authority in Wisconsin by transacting business in Wisconsin under a fictitious name. A foreign corporation may adopt a fictitious name by resolution of its Board of Directors.
