Cn the abeve date and time 13a {HyersfLeary] received infermatien frem a pass preven
reliable Cenfidential infermant that a drug transacticn was gcing tc take place at the
Cumberland Farms parking let between 1¤3u heurs and 1130 heurs this date. These efficers were
given the infcirmaticn that the suspect was gcing tc he a black male driving a red Plymcuth
Veyager bearing Delaware registratien PC47e2D, and is te be delivering a quarter eunce ef
crack-cccaine te anether unknewm black male in the parking 1ct ef Cumberland Farms.
at lu3¤ heurs this date these efficers were parked acress the street frem the Cumberland
Farms parking let, awaiting a call frem the cenfidential infermant te advise these efficers
that the suspect was present. at this time 1?a iCherltenfCurryl were alse present, at which
peint Ptlm.Cherlten was cenducting surveillance en the parking let, awaiting the described
suspects vehicle. At 11DT heurs this date, the C.I. infermed these efficers that the suspects
vehicle was at the lecatien, at which peint Ptlm.Cherlten alse cenfirmed same. Ab this time
these efficera entered the Cumberland Farms parking let in a marked patrel unit, and ebserved
a black male exiting the described red Plymeuth veyager. at this time the suspect
{Burhage.Knewlingten D.C.B Ul—¤T—63] was appreached by these efficers and taken inte custedy
and pat searched fer efficer safety by Ptlm.Myers. at this time Ptlm.Myers recevered a clear
sandwich bag eentaining twe clear knettedbags centsining an eff white chunky substance frem
the suspects grein area ef his pants and $421.DU U.S.C frcm his frent left pecket. D-1 was
then advised that he was under arrest. when D—1 was asked what wss in the bag, he stated a
let ef crack. at this time D—1 and his vehicle was transperted te Central witheut incident.
At Central the substance feund en D-1 tested pesitive fer craek—eecaine and had a preliminary
weight ef 15.9 grams, same was tagged and turned ever te recerds divisien. The meney en D—1
{$421.eU U.S.C} was seized and alse turned ever te reeerds divisien. D—1 was then read his
Miranda warnings and asked if he had any statements. At this time D—1 stated that he feund
the crack—cecaine, and stated that he knew he ceuld sell it te semebedv and that he was
geing te meet the persen at the Cumberland Farms. D—1 had ne further statements. at this time
D-1 was beeked en the abeve listed chargesand turned ever te the turn—key. D—1*s meter
vehicle was tewed by Tew Zene at Central, impeund number 329eD.
It sheuld be heted that this incident eccurred in the State Cf Delaware, Ceunty cr New
Castle. These efficers are swern members ef the Hilmingten Department ef Pelice. These
