Dear Judge Farnan:
l am writing on behalf of plaintiff GTECH Corporation concerning the pre—trial
conference that was set for January 12, 2006 but has now been rescheduled to January 18, 2006
at ll:00 a.m.
Unfortunately, lead trial counsel for plaintiff has a long-standing, pre—paid family
vacation set for next week, during which time the pre—trial conference has been rescheduled.
This vacation was scheduled under the assumption that the pretrial conference would go forward
on January 12, 2006 as previously ordered. Therefore, plaintiff respectfully requests the Court, if
possible, to move the date of the pre—trial conference for some time on or after January 20. 2006.
Defendants’ counsel is aware of this conflict, and to our understanding does not object to moving
the date. Counsel is available at the Couit’s convenience for any questions.
