Defendant Kirkland & Ellis ("K&E") shortly will be filing a motion for summary judgment on plaintiffs' claim of legal malpractice and professional negligence, which is Count 10 of the Fourth Amended Complaint. As the Court is aware, the factual record in this case is voluminous and complex. Although K&E has endeavored to present its motion in a concise manner, the substantial factual record has required that K&E exceed the presumptive limit of 17 pages in its moving papers. K&E anticipates that the motion, excluding the supporting statement of facts, will be approximately 25 pages. Accordingly, K&E respectfully requests that the Court grant it leave to exceed the page limitation in its motion. A proposed form of order is submitted herewith.
