COMES NOW PROBATION OFFICER Alicia R. Pineda presenting an official report on Manuel
SARAVIA-ARTEAGA who was committed to the Bureau of Prisons September 15, 2003, by the
Honorable Earl H. Carroll presiding in the District Court of Arizona. A 36-month period of supervised
release was imposed, and supervision commenced upon the offender's discharge from imprisonment
December 29, 2004. ln addition to the general terms and conditions adopted by the court, the offender
was ordered to comply with the following special conditions:
1. lf deported, you shall not re-enter the United States without legal authorization.
Manuel SARAVIA-ARTEAGA was convicted of Attempted Illegal Re-entry After Deportation, a violation
of 8 USC §1326(a) & (b)(2), a Class C felony.
RESPECTFULLY PRESENTING PETITION FOR ACTION OF COURT FOR CAUSE
AS FOLLOWS:
Allegation A. Violation of Standard Condition No. 1: You shall not commit another federal, state
or local crime during the term of supervision.
On or about April 18, 2005, Saravia-Arteaga committed the new federal offense of Re-entry After
Deportation, a violation of 8 USC §1326(a) & (b)(2), a Class C felony. This was evidenced by a
complaint filed April 19, 2005, in U.S. District Court, Southern District of California, San Diego, case no.
05CR830-GT. On June 17, 2005, he pled guilty to Count one: Illegal Entry, a violation of 8 USC §1325,
a misdemeanor, and Count two: Illegal Entry, a violation of 8 USC §1325, a felony. He was sentenced
to a total of 30 months imprisonment followed by 12 months supervised release. Grade B Violation,
§7B1.1(a)(2).
Allegation B. Violation of Special Condition No. 1: If deported, you shall not re-enter the United
States without legal authorization.
On or about April 18, 2005, Saravia-Arteaga entered the United States without legal authorization. This
was evidenced by his April 18, 2005 arrest by Border Patrol at or near the Calexico, California, Port of
Entry. This arrest was subsequent to his December 30, 2004 deportation. Grade C Violation,
§7B1.1(a)(3).

AFFIDAVIT AND PETITION PRAYING THAT THE COURT WILL ORDER A WARRANT BE ISSUED
ln conformance with the provision of 28 U.S.C. § 1746, I declare, under penalty of perjury, that the
foregoing is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. Based on the information presented that the
offender has violated conditions of supervision, I am petitioning the Court to issue a warrant.
