My name is Robert LuJan. I am employed at the Federal Prison Camp - LaTuna,
Anthony, Texas. My official title is _Counselor at Camp 2.
I have been employed for j'l/’years with the United States Bureau of Prisons.
Neil Rusty Bond, #81400008 was transferred to the Federal Prison Camp - LaTuna,
(Camp 2) on March 12, 2008. On March 12, 2008, Mr. Bond informed me that his
legal paperwork, including his completed Amended 2255 Pettion, was not allowed
to be transferred on his person from the CCA Central Arizona Detention Center,
Florence, Arizona. I instructed Mr. Bond that his legal paperwork was probably
transferred with his belongings.
However, on March 13, 2008, Mr. Bond's legal paperwork had not yet arrived at
the Federal Prison Camp - LaTuna. while Mr. Bond was in my office, I telephoned
Ms. Watson of the CCA Central Arizona Detention Center, to request the status
of Mr. Bond's paperwork, including his Amended 2255 Petition.
Ms. Watson subsequently notified me that Mr. Bond's legal paperwork, including
Mr. Bond's completed Amended 2255 Petition that she was in posession of, prior
to Mr. Bond's transfer, was on it's way from CCA Central Arizona Detention Center,
Florence Arizona to Federal Prison Camp - LaTuna, Anthony Texas.
I have followed up numerous times with Ms. Watson, and recently with her supervisor
at CCA Central Arizona Detention Center, to no avail, at this current date,
March 23, 2008.
To the best of my knowledge, Mr. Bond is without fault in this matter.
