CASE DESCRIPTION This case involves members of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club who have been charged with various federal crimes. The Indictment alleges violations of RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization), Violent Crimes in Aid of Racketeering, as well as gun and drug offenses. The Defendants have pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.

LENGTH AND SCHEDULE OF TRIAL This trial is expected to last between four and six months. Jury selection will begin in late April, trial will begin when jury selection is complete, and our best present estimate is that trial will end between the middle of September and the middle of November, 2006. During trial, the jury will hear evidence Tuesday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be breaks during the day, including a one hour lunch break. Due to the length of the trial, several one-week recesses will be taken. These recesses will occur on the following dates: June 27-July 4, August 1-4, September 5-8, and October 10-13, 2006.
