Dear Mr. Grcavcs:

This leua is in response to our recent tclcphunc convmabon regarding the above r c f m c e d project; spacifiully, our opinion with regards to the distress features within the house h a 1 are associated with the above slab w t r leaks. hs discussed in previous communications, our scope of services for (hc projcct ae
have included documentation of b c gcnaal sits conditions and distress fmwes, subsurfhce evaluation and laboratory testing. The purpose of our evalw~ion to assess the probable cause(s) of the geotechwas nically-relateddistress.
As we stated in the above refcrcnce rtport. it is our opinion that the above slab w a r n leaks did not cause movement of the subsurFse soils and, therefore, movement of the structure. However, depending on the amount of water relcascd, it is povsiblc that these a h v e slab leaks could hnve caused expansion md contraction of the drywall, w d kaming .dud wood flooring, resultirlg in a manifestation of cracks and separations to the walls and flooring. This most likely would have occurred near the areas of the water leaks.

Due to our limited experience with distress of this nature, we recommend a qulificd building conlncurr..
experienced with this typc of wat~r rclatcd damage, be contracted to evaluate the extent of distress to the walls and flooring r c w l h g horn Lhc abovc slab water Icaks. We appreciate the opportunity Lo be of scrvicc. If you have any questions or comments regarding this letter. please contact the undersigned.
