To the Honorable Judge Anderson, This letter is on behalf of Fidel Mendez. My name is Carmen Gallardo and I am a personal friend of Mr. Mendez. I have known Mr. Mendez for several months and I am aware of his past history. Mr. Mendez has made some mistakes but I believe that he has come a long way and will do better for himself. I also currently car pool with Mr. Mendez and he is always concern about being to work on time. The months that I have known him he has shown great responsibility.

To Whom It May Concern, I'm writing this letter on behalf of Fidel Mendez. I have been by Fidel's side this past year through his release. I have seen him come along way. It is true that he has made some mistakes this past year but he has been trying really hard to get his life together. He has been attending all his court dates and has even begun the process of getting his license. He was court ordered to take classes for a different case and has been attending those classes and only has 9 more to go out of a total of 26. I am asking you to please give him a chance to come home while his court cases are going on so he may continue those classes and not have to start all over. He was also working but his Probation Officer didn't know until after the warrant was issued. He had a very hard time trying to find a job, but finally found someone that would give him a chance and he was then picked up. His employer said that he was a great worker and an asset to the company. It will be a lot harder to get everything in order and straight in his life if he is incarcerated. I admit that he has to have a consequence for his mistakes but I ask if you could consider even giving him house atTest with the option to work, attend his classes and go to his court dates. This was everything wouldn't pile up and be harder to get in order when he was eventually released. Fidel is a good person who has made mistakes in his life but he is trying to make things better and has had a few stumbles along the way. Thanks for taking time to read this letter and taking it into consideration.
