1 make my living solely as a self-publishedcomposer and musician. My annual gross income is approximately $85,000 U.S. My liquid assets are approximately $32,000 U.S.
--

My annual expenses include living expenses and substantial business expenses including office expenses, global travel, printing and reproduction costs (for musical scoresand the like), postage, shipping, promotion and marketing. These expenses leave me with very little expendable income. 6. 1 understand thai the Arizona Academy for the Performing Arts hasrequested a security bond in the amount of$50,000. Given my financial status, annual earnings and regular expenses, I could not possibly afford to post suvh a bond, nor any bond even approaching that figure.

7. 1 have decided to prosecutethis litigation in order to vindicatemy copyrights. As I understand it, the defendants have admitted to stealing my works, and to profiting thereby, but have belligerently refused to pay or to return their ill-gotten gains. I believe that it is imperative that I prosecute my rights in this matter in order to protect my intellectual property against similar abuses by the defendants and others. 8.
