EXHIBIT A: DEPOSITION
Pursuant to Rule 30 ofthe Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Plaintiff Affyinetrix,
Inc. ("Affyrnetrix”), by and through its attorneys, will take the deposition of Dr. Mark
Chee by oral examination at the 4215 Sorrento Valley Boulevard, Suite 105, San Diego,
California 92121. The deposition will be recorded stenographically, with the capacity to
provide instant visual display or playback of the testimony, and by video by an officer
authorized to administer oaths. All counsel are invited to attend and examine the witness.
There is a Protective Order in this action, a copy of which is attached hereto as
Exhibit C. Paragraph 16 ofthe Protective Order provides that you may give testimony in
this case subject to the Protective Order by using an appropriate designation
