Mr. Basaldua-Lopez makes this request because Mr. Basaldua-Lopez is 20 facing a stipulated sentence pursuant to the plea agreement, a personal pre-sentence interview is 21 impractical for the parties because Mr. Basaldua-Lopez is currently being housed by the United States 22 Marshals Service outside the state of California, in San Luis, Arizona, and neither the assigned 23 Probation Officer nor AUSA opposes this request.
