MOTIONS FOR LEAVE TO FILE FURTHER MOTIONS

Counsel for defendant Juan Carlos Garcia, hereby respectfully requests that this Court grant him leave to file further motions based on newly received discovery and based upon the defense utilized by co-defendant. To date, defendant is unclear if discovery is complete. Additionally, counsel does not know what defense the co-defendant will reply upon and whether the defenses will be inconsistent warranting a severance. Therefore, defendant requests leave to file additional motions that arise from new discovery, and a motion to sever the co-defendants for trial, if necessary.
