DARRELL W. DUNHAM, ESQ. PROFILE Professor Dunham has been an attorney, law professor, arbitrator, mediator, and benevolance worker for over thirty years. He has taught and practiced in the areas of commercial law, education law, intellectual property, and employment law. Holding a national reputation as a law professor, Professor Dunham been assisting parties to resolve their disputes for his entire career. EXPERIENCE Professor Dunham has been a law professor from 1973 to 2004. He has been active in the practice of law since 1978. He has taught at the University of Idaho, the University of South Dakota, University of San Diego, and Washington University School of Law. Most of his teaching has been at Southern Illinois University School of Law where he started in 1975 and retired in 2004. As a law professor, he enjoyed a national reputation as a scholar in commercial law and bankruptcy law. As a practitioner, he has practiced in the state and federal courts in Illinois and in federal court in the States of Kentucky and Michigan. He private practice concentrates in the area of business litigation, emphasizing the rights of investors and limited partners in start-up entities. Professor Dunham has served as a legal consultant for attorneys throughout the United States. The last seven years of his tenure at Southern Illinois University School of Law he taught the Intellectual Property courses, and his practice has been expanding into those areas. As a mediator and arbitrator, Professor Dunham has served as a Level I1 arbitrator for the State of Illinois for Education for the Handicapped cases. He has also served as a licensed arbitrator for the State of Illinois in tenure dismissal cases. Professor Dunham was the principal draftsman for the grievance document used at Southern Illinois University. He has grievance board and has represented both faculty and administrators in served as chair of SIUCYs grievance hearings at Southern Illinois University. From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Dunharn served as arbitrator for the National Arbitrator Forum where he arbitrated consumer law questions.

Professor Dunham has given lectures to bar associations in l'llinois, Iowa, and South Dakota. His articles have cited by a variety of federal and state courts. For a several years he has served as faculty advisor to the Southern Illinois University Law School Chapter of the Christian Legal Society. Having adopted two children who were born in India, Professor Dunham has been and continues to be active in missionarylbenevolence work in India. In 2004, Professor was the Distinguished Guest Speaker to the Bar Association of the East Godavari District, Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India.
