Smith, and respectfully requests that this Court enter an order allowing the Defendant to join in the responses to the government's second supplement to James proffer filed by co-Defendants Norman Schmidt and George Alan Weed. As grounds therefore, the Defendant would state as follows: 1. The objections encompassed in the co-Defendants Schmidt and Weed's responses

to the government's second amended James proffer are equally applicable and relevant to the coDefendant Jannice McLain Schmidt's position in regard to the proffer. Allowing the Defendant to join in the co-Defendant's responses will allow the most efficient and economical use of judicial resources and Criminal Justice Act funds.
