4. Settlement Genference. Pursuant te EE U.S.G § efle, this matter is referred te the
_ United States Magistrate fer the purpese ef eitplering the pessibility ef a settlement. If the parties

agree that the pessibility ef settlement may be enhanced by such referral, the parties shall centact
Magistrate Judge Thynge te schedule a settlement cenference with ceunsel and clients.
5. Case Disgesitive Metiens. All case dispesitive metiens and an epening brief and
affidavits, if any, in suppert ef the metien shall be served and tiled en er befere August I2, 2·I][l5.
Briefing will be presented pursuant te the Ceurt’s Lecal Rules, unless the parties agree te an

Chambers. Any non-dispositive motion should contain the statement required by Local Rule T. I . l.
T. Ural Argument. lf the Court believes that oral argument is necessary, the Court will
schedule a hearing pursuant to Local Rule T. l .4.
E. Pretrial Conference. On January IT, 2005, the Court will hold a Pretrial Conference
in Chambers with counsel beginning at 10:00 a.m. Unless otherwise ordered by the Court, the parties
W should assume that tiling the pretrial orders satishes the pretrial disclosure requirements in Federal
Rule of Civil Procedure 2o{a)[3]. Tl1irty {30) days before the joint proposed pretrial is due, plaintiff s
counsel shall forward to defendant’s counsel a draft ofthe pretrial order containing the information
plaintiff proposes to include in the draft. Defendant’s eoumel shall, in turn, provide to plaintiH`s
counsel any comments on the plaintiff" s draft as well as the information defendant proposes to include
in the proposed pretrial order. Motion in fimine; No party shall file more th an ten [ I0] motions in
firnrrre. Briefs {opening. answering and reply} on all motion in fimtne shall be tild by January I2,
Ti 1006. Opening and answering briefs shall not exceed live {5) pages and reply briefs shall not exceed
three (3} pages The parties shall file with the court thejoint proposed tinal pretrial order with the
information required by the form of Final Preuial Order wliich accompanies this Scheduling Order
on or before December 19, 2005. i
