Shelby Bryan and William S. Beans, Jr. ("Defendants"), by and through their attorneys, Brownstein Hyatt & Farber, P.C. and O'Melveny & Myers LLP, seek permission to submit the attached reply in further support of their Rule 72 Objections to Magistrate Judge Boyd N. Boland's March 13, 2006 Order. 1. On March 10, 2006, the parties filed a Stipulated Motion to Amend the

January 21, 2005 Scheduling Order. On March 13, 2006, Magistrate Judge Boyd N. Boland granted the motion in part but denied the motion insofar as it sought an extension of the dispositive motion deadline. 2. On March 28, 2006, Defendants filed Objections, pursuant to Fed. R. Civ.

P. 72(a), to Magistrate Judge Boyd N. Boland's March 13, 2006 Order. Defendants asked the Court to (i) set aside the March 13, 2006 Order insofar as it declined to extend the dispositive motion deadline (which lapsed during the PSLRA's automatic stay which was in effect while the Court considered Defendants' motion to dismiss the

SAC) and (ii) enter an order extending Defendants' dispositive motion deadline to August 15, 2006 or such other time as the Court deemed appropriate. 3. On April 7, 2006, Plaintiffs submitted a response opposing Defendants'

Rule 72 Objections. 4. Plaintiffs' Opposition mischaracterizes several key facts and Defendants'

request. Defendants seek permission to submit a brief reply in order to correct. Accordingly, there is good cause to grant Defendants' motion to submit a reply. 5. Pursuant to D.C.Colo.L.R. 7.1(A), Defendants contacted Lead Plaintiffs'
