Defendant present and in custody Interpreter sworn Court's comments Following entry of a guilty plea sentencing was set for September 23, 2003. The defendant absconded; bond was revoked; and he has since been apprehended and brought to this court. Mr. Boma's comments - they don't intend to indict for bond-jumping; however, they do think there needs to be a revision to the offense level. The acceptance of responsibility should be lost due to the flight and also a two-level increase under the advisory Guidelines for obstruction. 1
