JOHN THOMAS EASTMAN, Defendant. ____________________________________________________________________________ MOTION FOR RULING _____________________________________________________________________________ The defendant, John Eastman, through counsel, the Office of the Federal Public Defender, by the undersigned, moves that his previously filed Motion to Modify Conditions of Supervised release be granted. The defendant filed this motion on May 23, 2008. Doc. 48. In it he asked that the monthly restitution payment of $100.00 be reduced. On May 27, 2008, this Court ordered the Government and the Probation Office to respond on or before June 6, 2008. Doc. 49. PACER reflects there have been no responses filed to date. Accordingly, the defendant moves that his motion, Doc. 48, be granted, and that the monthly obligation for restitution be reduced from $100.00, as set by the probation office, to $25.00, the amount the defendant believes he can afford given his current economic circumstances.
