William filed his Renewed Motion for Further Discovery Regarding Racial

Disparity in Cases Submitted for Possible Death Penalty Authorization on December 12, 2005. 2. 3. The Government filed its response on December 19, 2005. There are only a few cases on this issue. The leading case is United States

v. Armstrong, 517 U.S. 456 (1996), a case which has been mentioned by both parties.

Other relevant cases are United States v. James, 257 F. 3rd 1173 (2001) and United States v. Bass, 536 U.S. 862 (2002). 4. William has recently come across two other cases which are relevant to this

issue: U.S. v. Glover, 43 F. Supp. 2d 1217, at 1233 (1999) and United States v. Bradley, 880 F. Supp. 271, at 279 (1994). These cases support his position regarding further discovery. WHEREFORE, William respectfully requests that the Court order the prosecution to provide further discovery regarding racial disparity in cases submitted for possible death penalty authorization.
