JOINT STATUS REPORT In accordance with the Court's order entered December 13, 2007, defendant reports that the settlement offer has been submitted for approval in accordance with this office's internal settlement approval procedures. Owing to the holiday season, relevant personnel from the Government have been absent from the office which accounts for the fact that review of the settlement is not yet complete.
