IN THE UNITED STATES COURT OF FEDERAL CLAIMS __________________________________________ ) NORTHEAST SAVINGS, F.A. ) ) Plaintiff, ) ) v. ) Civil Action No. 92-550C ) Judge Williams UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ) ) Defendant. ) __________________________________________) UNOPPOSED MOTION TO EXTEND THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF POST-TRIAL BRIEFS

Plaintiff Northeast Savings, F.A. ("Northeast") hereby respectfully moves for entry of an order revising slightly the schedule for the submission of the parties' opening post-trial briefs. Those briefs are currently due on Friday, January 19. Northeast requests that the Court extend the deadline for the submission of those briefs by three calendar days, i.e., until Monday, January 22. Northeast submits that good cause for this short extension exists in that the extension will assist the parties in their preparation of their post-trial briefs, which, due to the extensive trial record in this case and the relatively large number of issues explored at trial, are likely to be quite lengthy and to contain numerous citations to the record. As noted above, this motion is unopposed. Neither party has previously moved for an extension of the deadline for the submission of the opening post-trial briefs. Finally, neither party is by this motion seeking any adjustment to either the deadline for the submission of post-trial reply briefs or the schedule for closing argument.
