SECOND MOTION TO EXTEND PRETRIAL DEADLINES
The Plaintiff in the above-captioned matter rcspectttilly requests an extension ofall
previously set deadlines contained in the June I7. 2003 Scheduling Order, as modified by the
Courfs order dated January 8, 2003. by thirty (30) days. In support ofthis motion, the PlaintiiI`
States:
I. A private mediation was scheduled to take place on February i3. 2004. The parties had
discussed delaying discovery until after the mediation to avoid unneeded expenditures of
time and resources in light ofthe potential resolution ot` this entire matter. It became
necessary to reschedule the mediation due to the unexpected 5ChCdl.1ling Ufa trial UII lildt
date in an unrelated matter that counsel for the Plaintiff is also handling. The parties
have scheduled a new date for the mediation, which will take place on May 3, 2004. An
earlier mediation is not possible due to the mediators very limited availability prior to
May 3. 2004
2. As a result ofthe loregoing. the parties have not completed discovery.
