Pursuant to Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Rule 6(b) and Local ules of Civil
Procedure, Rule 7(b), Plaintiif moves tbr a short extension in time ofthre business days, until
April 29, 2004, to file and serve Plaintiffs Opposition to Defendant’s Mo ion for Summary
Judgment. In support of this Motion, Plaintiff says that: I
l. Plaintiffs counsel is presently preparing Plaintiff s Oppos` ion to D€f€Hd8Ht’S I
Motion for Summary Judgment. Plaintiff s counsel had e ected to complete I
same on or before April 26, 2004, but, unfortunately, Plain` iff s counsel was I
violently ill throughout the weekend and, thus, was not abl to do so. I
2. Plaintiffs counsel is still waiting to hear if Defendants co sel will assent to the

allowance of this Motion. Ilowever, due to their courteou and professional I
relationship, Plaintiff fully’s counsel expects that Defenda ts’ counsel will so
