FEBRUARY 20, 2607 MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT
Pursuant to D. Coma. L. Civ. R. 7, the Plaintiffs, South Lyme Property Owners
Association, Ine., Charles and Victoria Parsons and Joan Byer, hereby request an extension of
time of forty—tive (45) additional days in which to tile their Opposition to Defendantsh Town of
Old Lyme, Town of Old Lyme Zoning Commission, and Mariiyn Ozols, February 20, 2007—tiIed
Motion for Summary Judgment. This is PIaintiffs’ first request for an extension of time.

Further, Piaintiff`s’ counsel has inquired of the Det`endants’ counsel and there is agreement to the
motion.
The requested extension is necessary to allow the Plaintiffs sufficient time to draft an
Opposition to Defendants? voluminous Motion for Summary Judgment and accompanying
Memorandum of Law and exhibits. The Piaintiffs’ counsel requires additional time to confer
with multiple members ofthe plaintiff association to prepare their Opposition memorandum
WHERWEFORE, the Plaintiffs, South Lyme Property Owners Association, Inc., Charles
and Victoria Parsons and Joan Byer, respectfully request that their first motion for extension of
time be granted.
