Dear Chief Judge Robinson: By way of a brief status report, and especially in view of the absence of significant docket activity in this case since its commencement in January this year, I thought it prudent to advise the Court that the parties have been and continue to be in active discussions in an effort to resolve this matter amicably. We hope to be in a position to give the Court a definitive report on the status of any settlement by the end of June this year. Opposing counsel has reviewed and approved of this report.
