Matt,
On October 9, 2007, you attended a meeting with Lisa Roberts and me, in which we met with
counsel for Robert Johnson, who is petitioning for the remission of forfeited funds. At that meeting, I
asked you not to destroy any records currently in our possession or control in regard to the overall
Kwikrned matter. This email is merely written confirmation of that request, in case the cost of
preserving and warehousing those records is ever questioned by your superiors or administrative
personnel. Thank you for your cooperation in that regard.
Lisa is litigating the matter, and we will keep you updated on the litigation. If you have any
